Local auctioneers make PERM events successful!

Each year PERM puts on about a dozen fundraisers ranging from banquet-style dinners to large consignment auctions. What they all have in common—what makes them financially successful and entertaining for our supporters, are the talents donated by a handful of local auctioneers. We are truly grateful for their talents and their commitment to PERM. The following is a list of the auctioneers who donate their time and talents to PERM. Without hesitation, we recommend any of them if you are in need of auction services. Whether you hire them for your own auction, see them working somewhere, or just pass them on the street, please let them know you appreciate what they are doing for the outdoor community!

7th Annual Deer Hunters’ Supper a success!

This year’s dinner, a tradition for many deer hunters heading north the Friday night before the Minnesota firearms deer season opens, had few new twists. This year PERM was assisted by the Mille Lacs Tea Party which co-sponsored the event. This was also the first year the dinner was held at the Onamia Vet’s Club on Hwy. 169 in Onamia, Minnesota. PERM would like to thank everyone involved with this years event, especially the members of the Mille Lacs Tea Party! The Tea Party is an ad-hoc committee of the Mille Lacs Lake Association, formed to deal specifically with issues associated with the Mille Lacs Reservation boundaries.

One thing that did not change from previous years, was the great meal served to hungry hunters on their way up to deer camp. A menu of roast beef, roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, coleslaw, corn, dinner roll, pie and coffee was served. You can’t beat that for $9 a plate!

PERM’s 5th Annual Brainerd Area Fundraiser makes $7,000.00!

Great food, lots of raffles and fabulous action items, made this years event at the Old Waterfall in Brainerd Minnesota a great time. PERM would like to thank all the area businesses who donated merchandise to help make this event a success. We also want to thank all the volunteers who made this fundraiser possible, especially Hank Dombovy who chaired the event!
