Coon Lake Improvement Association thanks PERM for help with walleye stocking program.

Editor’s note: At the June, 2004 PERM Board meeting, Doug Meyenburg Jr., presented the following letter from the Coon Lake Improvement Association. The PERM Board of Directors had previously donated two limited edition wildlife art prints to the Coon Lake Improvement Association. While PERM, like most other small conservation organizations, is usually strapped for cash, we have a fine collection of wildlife art prints that we are more than happy to donate to other organizations to use for raffle or banquet prizes. Just give us a call @ 763-441-6869, or write us @ PERM - 657 Main St. #210 - Elk River - MN - 55330.

Members of PERM,

At our spring meeting in 2003, your organization, through common member Doug Meyenburg Sr., donated two framed prints to the Coon Lake Improvement Association (CLIA) to be used as a fundraiser for our walleye stocking fund. I am writing to thank you for that generous donation and to tell you that one print was purchased by a member of CLIA at our 2003 fall meeting and the second print was a raffle prize at this year’s spring meeting. The two prints helped bring in over $400 for the walleye stocking fund.

You will be pleased to hear that we have completed the first segment of the stocking program with the purchase of over 5,000 dollars worth of fingerlings that were brought to the lake on April 2004 from Bosak Fisheries near Alexandria, MN.

Thank you again for your generous support, and we wish PERM continued success with your endeavors.

Respectfully,
Coon Lake Improvement Association
Mike Bury, President
